What did you feel in your ear

When I spoke of your pains to your heart?

Did your eyes see that you were with me?

Did you ask me to let go of your hand?

Or were you enjoying the pain?

Each story made you who you are,

Could I have pulled the love from your chest?

The greatest pain of all?

Would it have been better if

I shared my pain with you?

The wounds I couldn't heal in myself,

What will happen when they reach your heart?

Will we cover them with each other's skin?

Maybe we should stay like this,

Our destiny won't change from our hands,

Still, I can't bear to let go of your hand,

When you look at me with those eyes!
